ECO-FRIENDLY CHRISTMAS IN BURNABY 2019
BURNABY BRITISH COLUMBIA: ENJOYING THE HOLIDAYS WHILE BEING ECO-FRIENDLY
Burnaby is a city in Metro Vancouver, situated with the City of Vancouver to the west and Port Moody, Coquitlam, and New Westminster on the east. Burnaby is the third-largest city in the province of British Columbia by population, surpassed only by Surrey and Vancouver. Being Burnaby based home developers, we cannot stress the important of eco-conservation so this holiday season lets focus on having an environmentally friendly Christmas.
With the holiday season kicking off, there are great places to visit during this festive season. Firstly, the Burnaby Village Museum is great to enjoy with your family and friends (it is also free). Take a nice stroll with the kids while taking some time to teach your kids about history of Burnaby. The Carousel ride is extra charge. This is a great way to support the city and also emitting less waste this holiday season.
This holiday season, consider buying less and dedicating time and volunteer work for others. This will not only reduce waste for our environment but honestly, you will remember these memories more than the gifts. Also, living in this beautiful City of Burnaby, we are so thankful and this season is a reminder of how much our community counts the most.
Everyone loves to receive Christmas Cards! Consider making them with the family. This will get the whole family involved and waste less paper and money.
Consider buying or borrowing Christmas lights that are energy efficient. This is extremely important. Our homes are comsuming more heat in the winter and this will not only save money but reduce energy consumption.
